Who We Are
A collective built around creativity
hART is a mutually supportive collective of artists working across a diverse range of media, creating, exhibiting and selling contemporary artwork to a professional standard.
Established in 2014 by a group of professional artists, hART was created to provide a platform for artists across the South East to exhibit and showcase their work.
Bringing together different disciplines, styles and creative approaches, hART provides a platform for its members to share their work while supporting and promoting one another as part of the wider collective.
Together, we aim to encourage the practice, appreciation and acquisition of art, creating opportunities for original contemporary work to be seen, discovered and enjoyed.
What We Do
Creating opportunities to discover art, connect with artists and take art beyond the exhibition
01 – EXHIBIT
We curate and contribute to exhibitions that bring distinctive works together, inviting visitors to experience art up close, meet the artists behind it and explore each collection at their own pace.
02 – PROMOTE
Our connection with audiences continues beyond our exhibitions. We share our artists’ work, practices and individual activities, offering a closer insight into their evolving creative journeys.
03 – CONSIDER
We recognise that creativity carries a responsibility beyond the work itself. We seek to minimise the environmental impact of our activities, making considered choices in how we exhibit, promote and work together.

Our exhibitions have long been an important part of hART, creating spaces where original art can be experienced up close and artists and audiences can come together.
Each exhibition adds another chapter to hART’s story, bringing together a distinctive collection of work shaped by the artists taking part.
Over the years, our exhibitions have reflected an evolving breadth of styles, disciplines and creative perspectives. We also welcome guest artists to selected exhibitions, introducing new voices and ensuring there is always something new to discover.
