Sam Scott
Sam had a long career as a graphic designer and 8 years ago started painting full time. She loves colour and uses oils, watercolour, acrylics, pastels and ink but not all in the same painting!
18 months ago Sam was a finalist in The British Art Prize out of 30,000 entries, and last year competed in Landscape Artist of the Year.
Sam has recently illustrated the Tiggy the Salty Seadog children’s books, the third book came out in November 2024 and The Coral Babies in collaboration with a well known film director.
Sam lives in Dymchurch where the beautiful beach and big skies inspire her every day.
