Leigh Norgrove

Leigh had a long and varied career in Education, teaching youngsters between the ages of 3 and 7 at a primary school where Art was really valued. Meaning creativity formed an important and integral part of each day. So throughout her teaching career Leigh was able to develop her own creative ideas.

Leigh is currently preoccupied with capturing light and dark together with a sense of warmth or chill, employing a variety of mark making techniques. She uses photos from her journeys around the UK and beyond, in particular Kent and France as inspiration, Drawn to vibrant and complementary colours, she works mainly in acrylics.
